Except you didn’t realize that until after you fired 20 rounds at his 22-year old body.

The thing is, even if Stephon Clark was breaking car windows...he didn’t deserve to DIE.

Period.

If those men turned the corner of that home to a white man in a business suit, with that same cell phone in his hands, he wouldn’t have died.

Period.

(Never mind that white men in business suits commit criminal acts far more egregious than a broken car window EVERY SINGLE DAY. In fact, they become President of the United States.)

I know many cops are good. But this problem goes so much deeper than good cop/bad cop. It’s a societal sickness when a young Black man in a hoodie evokes so much fear and (d)anger, that he would lose his life for it.

Shoot first. Ask questions later.

THIS IS NOT OK.

Please wake up. And stay awake. Black and Brown lives are at stake every single day.
